Everything you need to put us on site
Accreditations, insurance, competence and the capability to self-deliver, set out in full. For facilities teams with a bill or a failure to resolve, and for main contractors pre-qualifying a water package.
Pre-qualifying us?The capability statement has the accreditations, insurance and competence in one document.
The sector
Two buyers, the same checklist.
Commercial and contractor enquiries arrive from opposite directions. A facilities manager has a bill that has risen or a main that has failed on an occupied building. A main contractor has a water package to let and a programme to protect. Both end up asking the same question: is this organisation accredited, insured and competent enough to let on site?
Cascade self-delivers. Excavation, plant, traffic management, testing and reinstatement are in-house, so the water element is one package on one contract rather than four subcontractors and a coordination risk. Everything below is current and evidenced, and the capability statement puts it in one document for a tender pack.
On the commercial side, when a bill jumps and nothing about the site has changed, the meter is usually right and something on the premises is consuming water continuously — a urinal flush control stuck open, a float valve passing to overflow, a cooling circuit topping itself up. We profile the consumption and isolate the site before anyone reaches for an excavator. Where the loss is buried, acoustic detection puts the excavation at the defect rather than along the run.
What you need from us
Four situations facilities teams call about.
- 01The bill has risen and nobody knows why
High Consumption Investigations
Night flow analysis, sequential isolation and sub-metering to establish where the volume is going — and whether it is leaving through a pipe at all.Night flow profilingWritten finding issuedOften resolved without diggingRead more - 02There is a loss and it is underground
Leakage Services
Acoustic detection including the PipeMic system, correlation and pipe tracing, so the excavation is a metre wide instead of a driveway wide.Non-invasive locationRepair on location24/7 burst responseRead more - 03The incoming supply is failing or undersized
Supply Pipes
Repair or full renewal of the private supply into the premises, in modern blue MDPE, with trenchless moling wherever ground conditions allow.Repair or renew, honestly advisedTrenchless where possibleReinstatement includedRead more - 04A main has burst on an occupied site
Water Mains
Burst response, repair and planned renewal, plus live main tapping so new connections are made without taking the building off supply.24/7 attendanceLive tapping, no shutdownHighway works handledRead more
Why Cascade
We will tell you when it is not a leak.
A contractor paid to dig has an incentive to find something buried. The value here is an investigation willing to conclude otherwise.
- 01
Investigation before excavation
Profiling and isolation come first. A great many high consumption jobs are resolved without opening any ground at all, and that should be the outcome whenever it is the true one.
- 02
Detection and repair in one organisation
If the loss is buried, the team that located it repairs it — no second mobilisation and no handover to someone who was not there when the mark was made.
- 03
Findings you can pass on
A written finding is what justifies spend internally, or what you take to a retailer or a landlord. "We think it is over there" is not.
- 04
Accredited to work on drinking water
WaterSafe approved contractor, WIAPS registered and LRQA WIRS accredited, so corrective work meets the standard for potable systems.
- 05
Downtime treated as the real cost
Live tapping, phased isolation and out-of-hours working exist so an occupied building keeps its supply while the work happens.

Commercial & contractor enquiry
Send us an overnight meter reading.
A reading taken with the site closed, plus what the bill has done over the last year, is usually enough for us to say whether you have a continuous loss and roughly how large it is.
